– a meditative workshop uniting yin yoga and mindfulness –
Saturday September 2nd from 13.30 till 16.00

To be mindful refers to a state of mind where you are fully present in a non-judgmental way knowing what is happening while it is unfolding. We can practice mindfulness in a number of ways, meditation being the most common. Yin yoga is an obvious style of yoga to practice the art of being mindful since we stay in each pose for longer periods of time, observing and giving in to whatever bodily sensations appear. Hence, we can with support from mindfulness dig deeper into our yin practice, and yin yoga is at the same time a gateway to mindfulness.

In this workshop we will indulge in the fusion of yin yoga and mindfulness and you will be guided through a Yinmind program.
The workshop is for all levels and will be taught in English.

The room with be slightly heated to 25 degrees.
Lars Damkjær is based in Copenhagen where he is a recognized yin and mindfulness teacher. He is the founder of and facilitates Yinmind teacher trainings, is certified in the MBSR program (mindfulness based stress reduction) and has studied yin yoga with Sarah Powers and Jo Phee. Further info see
